This page is a snapshot of my current activities, obsessions, media consumption, and other things I’m currently doing. It’s like a living status update.

Building

• Working through the Build your own SQLite course on Codecrafters, which is quite the experience. It can be somewhat overwhelming at times, but it’s a great challenge nonetheless. Nonetheless, I’m learning a lot and am determined to finish it.

Tech

• The new homelab build is complete, at last. It has taken much longer than necessary, but it’s fully operational and a big step up from the previous setup.

Entertainment

• Really hyped for the upcoming album The Mother Void by Iapetus, set to release on October 16. The preview of the album, in the form of Red Giant, has left me longing for more.

• Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” has been surprisingly good at providing new recommendations over the past couple of weeks as well. Some albums that have been on repeat are:

• Started a new co-op Stardew Valley run with my wife, this time with the Stardew Valley VERY Expanded mod pack.

• Wrapped up season 4 of FROM (2022). Lots of mysteries unraveled, while creating a ton more. Currently finishing up on the final season of Evil (2019), with plans to dive into Lost (2004) next.

Reading

• Still making my way through Mythos by Stephen Fry. It’s a very entertaining read, but Greek mythology is wilder than expected…
